Black and White Wednesday - Scrigni di brisé - Brisé caskets

Era un pò che non partecipavo al Black and White Wednesday, l'evento creato da Susan del blog The Well Seasoned Cook. Questa settimana è ospitato da Simona di Briciole, proprio nella settimana in cui il suo blog compie cinque anni! Auguroni Simona!! 

E’ una bellissima iniziativa, a cui chiunque può partecipare semplicemente inviando una foto in bianco e nero che riguardi in qualche modo il mondo del cibo: dall’insegna di un ristorante a un set di cucchiai, a un piatto di spaghetti fumanti o un chicco di caffè.

Come vedete le possibilità sono infinite e ci si può veramente sbizzarrire!

A me sono sempre piaciute le foto in bianco e nero, hanno qualcosa di affascinante e misterioso…

It was a while since my last participation to the Black and White Wednesday, the eventcreated by Susan of the blog The Well Seasoned Cook. This week is hosted by Simona of Briciole, just in this week her blog turns five! Happy blog anniversary Simona!

It is such a beautiful event, to which everyone can partecipate simply sending a black&white picture related to food: from a restaurant storefront to a spoons set, from a steaming spaghetti dish to a coffee bean.

As you can see you have infinite chances and you can really indulge yourself!

I’ve always loved black and white pictures, I think they have something charming and mysterious…

Black and White Wednesday - Affettatrice Berkel - Berkel slicer

Un'altro mercoledì  per il Black and White Wednesday! Un'altra occasione per affinare le mie (scarse) capacità come fotografa. Fare una foto, trasformarla in bianco e nero e mandarla a Susan di New York, che la pubblicherà sul suo blog assieme a quelle di tantissime altre persone sparse per il mondo. 

Unica regola: la foto deve riguardare in qualche modo il cibo.

Io ho fotografato questa vecchia affettatrice Berkel: stupenda, non è vero? fa bella mostra di sè , assieme a diverse altre    (sempre Berkel), all'Osteria della Pieve a Bologna. Se siete della zona vi consiglio una capatina..

Il ristorante è un casolare ristrutturato (mura in pietra vista, travi di legno, atmosfera rustic-chic per intenderci), che propone una cucina tipica bolognese veramente ottima con pasta fresca fatta in casa, crescentine e dolci rigorosamente fatti da loro.. GNAM!

Another Wednesday for the Black and White Wednesday! Another occasion to improve my (few) skills as a photographer. Just take a picture, turn it into black and white and send it to Susan from New York, she will post it on her blog together with those of many other people around the world.

Only one rule: the picture must be related to food.

I've taken this picture of a Berkel old slicer, wonderful, isn't it? It shows beautifully togheter many others (always Berkel), at the Osteria della Pieve in Bologna. If you are from this area, I recommend a visit..

The restaurant it's an old restructured cottage (stone walls, timber-beams, rustic-chic atmosphere to put it very clear), the food is amazing traditional bolognese with home made pasta, crescentine (square little flat breads . fried !) and desserts rigorously from their kitchen.

I took this picture in a newly opened restaurant in Bologna “Osteria della Pieve”, where guests are welcomed by this beautiful stand of prosciutti and salami, that anticipate what you are about to taste at your table. YUMMY!
